CIARA AND CHRIS

Hey, remember those pesky COVID lockdowns? How could we forget, you say. Well if you could find a silver lining in such a dark cloud, it could be how we readjusted our priorities and took stock of the important things in our lives. Lockdowns put a halt to the wedding day Ciara and Chris originally imagined, so they opted for a stunning Sydney City elopement. Refusing to cancel their dreams of getting married and having a baby, they created an intimate wedding day for two, captured by the talented Airlie Walsh (yes the newsreader is also quite the photographer). Our Malo gown was the perfect elopement dress for Ciara with it's effortless simplicity. Ciara decided to go a size up for her dress so she could have a looser fit with a more drapey bridal look.

With Ciara's family in New Zealand and Chris' family in the UK, had to wait out the restrictions before being able to celebrate their love before their family and friends.

Fastforward a year and a bit, after welcoming little Esme into the family, they were able to finally have everyone over to Australia to celebrate their family. Renewing their vows with a big celebration at Watson's Bay on Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. I created a mini dress version of our Malo gown for Ciara so she finally could kick her heels up!
