ALANNA AND STEVE

When the stars align...co-incidentally Alanna and Steve actually met at my partners cafe near where they both worked at St Leonards in Sydney. And their dreamy beach wedding photos also coincidentally captured by my long time collaborator Amy Dobos from All the Love Letters. I have worked with Amy on all my web shoots to date as she takes the most stunning, candid wedding photos.

Alanna is the epitome of the anti-bride, searching for a relaxed wedding dress for her intimate beach wedding at Freshwater, on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Coming from an Italian family, there were many traditional expectations on Alanna that simply weren't her style. When Alanna and I first chatted through the wedding dress options I could see her visibly relax as she realised she'd found effortless bridal wear that made her feel her best self. I custom made a pleated tulle top for Alanna so she could change up her bridal look for their afternoon garden reception at Pilu on the sands of Freshwater Beach.
