This Christmas, we opened the doors of Angela’s home and invited the people who have helped shape the brand over the years to gather, eat, drink and celebrate together. Not as a styled shoot or a production — but as a genuine thank you.
Where It Always Starts: A Mood Board for Christmas Entertaining Inspiration
Like many Mancini moments, the journey began with a Pinterest board. Sun-warmed Mediterranean tones, imperfect tablescapes, ribbon-tied details and the kind of Christmas that feels more felt than formal. From there, a brand colour palette emerged naturally — soft, nostalgic hues that felt right at home in Angela’s garden.
The vision was simple: a Christmas party that felt intimate, thoughtful and deeply personal. Something that reflected the heart of the brand.
A Day With Bree: Creating a Three-Course Christmas Menu at Home
One of the most special parts of the preparation was a full day spent with friend of the brand and Mancini bride Bree, workshopping the menu. Sitting together, talking food, family traditions and the rhythm of a long lunch, we shaped a cooked three-course meal designed to be shared — the kind that encourages seconds and conversation.
Cooking together felt important. It slowed everything down and brought intention to the table. And of course, no Mancini gathering would be complete without family involvement — with Angela’s mum lovingly making the dessert cheesecakes, adding another layer of meaning to the day.
Tablescape Details That Tell a Story
The table came together with layers of texture, history and heart. Nonna’s crystal glassware — heirloom pieces passed down through generations — took pride of place, catching the afternoon light and grounding the table in family history.
A gin station became a favourite corner of the day, complete with maraschino cherry ice cubes and personalised ribbon ties for glassware and place cards. Each ribbon was a small gesture, but together they told a bigger story — that every guest was considered, welcomed and appreciated.

This Christmas lunch wasn’t about perfection. It was about gratitude.
We Are Mancini has been built with the help of many — friends, collaborators, family members and supporters who have believed in the brand from the beginning. Opening Angela’s home felt like the most natural way to say thank you.
Because at its core, We Are Mancini is a family. And families gather around tables. They share meals. They pass down glassware. They tie ribbons, pour drinks, and stay longer than planned.
